Dear RGBs,
As mentioned last year in the first quarter of 2016 we (Portuguese Shooting Federation) would have a meeting with the Portuguese Police.
That meeting took place today at 11AM with the presence of the:
· Director Portuguese Police
· 6 Chief Police inspectors
· Portuguese Shooting Federation President – Dr. Luis Moura
· Portuguese Shooting Federation Director (ISSF & INFRASTRUCTURES) – Eng. Mario Miranda
· Portuguese Shooting Federation Director ( Field Target & Benchrest) – Eng. Sergio Rita
In short, the meeting was very productive & collaborative.
During the meeting it was clearly stated by the Police that Air rifles don’t need any special documentation however since we live special times and Portugal has several types of Police we decided to request a formal authorization (no costs involved) to make sure the Police will not bother anyone.
The Police requested a list in an Excel Sheet the following information:
a. Name of the Shooter (we have that)
b. ID (we have that)
c. Country of the Shooter (We have that)
d. Flights Number (Arrival & Departure) **we need this
e. Connection flights (**we need this if available)
f. Hotel (where you are staying) ** same shooters we need this, other we don’t
g. Air rifle Brand & model (We have that)
h. Rifle serial number (We have that)
With this information the Police will produce the authorization and the document will be delivered to each competitor in the Lisbon airport (by Customs)
NEXT STEPS: The Portuguese Shooting Federation will contact each RGB or competitor for this extra information.
Please inform your competitors about this contact that will happen soon.
NOTE: For competitors that will not arrive in the Lisbon Airport the organization will deliver in hand the same document during registration.

Pues eso, que necesitan saber el número de vuelo de llegada y el hotel de los participantes para poder rellenar el permiso que emitirá la policía. Se supone que se pondrán directamente en contacto con cada tirador para pediros los datos. Si lo hace via RGB ya os avisaré.
